What is Digital Signage?

Digital singnage is digital distribution of multimedial content through centrally managed network of display units. Digital signage network, in other words digital dynamic signage, can be compared to a private TV channel, addressed to people outdoors.

Possibility of targeting and surprise effect of the dynamic message allow the narrowcasting networks efectively modify message recipient's reaction. Big asset of digital signage is possibility to set up information carriers in the place where decision is made allowing to examine in the real time relation between eg. advertising message and purchase decision.
